The end of an era

The Stankoniforous One is still in shock over the news. S.O weeped, tore garments, shaved his head, put on his sackcloth, gnashed his teeth, and threw dust on his shaven head. It is unimaginable, unfathomable, unthinkable, unconscionable, and inconceivable. The Madcap aka the Mastiff aka the Architect of Mischief has been traded!

Despite the Madcap putting himself on the trade block, S.O did not honestly think he would be dealt. S-dot figured that Cap would be shopped for the rest of the season and the playoffs, and rarely is S.O wrong. This is one of those times. Can you imagine someone dealing straight across for the Madcap! Straight across?! The team that got him, the Candles got a steal. There were rumors of a mutiny in the Candles’ camp so this may have righted the ship. The Stankoniforous One imagines the Madcap will cipher with Del and get the Candles in shape and fast.

The other person dealt straight across for Madcap? Ron, the former QB/WR of the Candles. He gives the Maddawgs the big play WR they have so sorely needed. This could vault that offense into elite status. The two big play TEs and a big play WR? Before double teaming was a chore, now it’s impossible. The Stankoniforous One can already see Ron on one side and one TE on the other side with another releasing from the line.

There are whispers of some major free agent moves, according to my sources, but S.O will sit on that until they happen. The off-season has not started and the Maddawgs have made a big splash already.
