The All-Novaffl team

While the debate has raged on and on about offensive and defensive MVP, which S.O may have had a hand in, the thought of an all-Novaffl team intrigued the Stankoniforous One. It will be comprised of current season players. Props were handed out yesterday, so why not an All-Nova team today?

All-Novaffl Offense

The QB would….hmmm, this is a difficult decision, but in the end Pilot Ron or Shake n Bake, whichever you prefer, would have to be the guy. Some will knock his mobility but if the all Nova offensive line is protecting him, why scramble?

The offensive line, another point of contention. There are some great lines around the league, but a decision has to be made. One person who is definitely a member is the bulldozer in the middle of the Hawks line. He looks like he grew up in Nebraska or Iowa. Like he was created, brought into this world, for the purpose of playin the line, and more to the point he excels at it. The second member would be Rum. He has played steady on the line the entire pre-season (not relevant but part of his resume) and the season.

The Stankoniforous One acknowledges that some players, namely a certain WR, feel their ranking is below their own perceptions of greatness and ability. S-dot says play better then. In any case, the WRs would be Nique and Felipe, the #1 and #2 SOPR WRs of Nova. For the simple reason that speed kills, and these two would be assassins.

For the TE, S.O would go with Groverb because the Stankoniforous One wants speed at all the skill positions. Alge is rated higher, but lacks the separation necessary for inclusion on the All-Nova team. For those doubting, namely Quest[ion] personnel, S-dot would mention the bomb Groverb had while injured. To quote him, Groverb hibachi’d a certain Conquest player.

There is one position left, the linemen that releases, and S.O would go with the other Maddawg TE, the co-#2 SOPR TE. Makes great catches in traffic and seems to find the seam in any defense.

With the offense named, next comes the defense.

All-Novaffl Defense

The two men up front would be Ty and Gene aka the Beast. S-dot will no longer refer to Gene aka the Beast by anything other than the Beast. Who do you double team? A wrong answer and your QB is toast, unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a right answer.

The LB would be Strawman, the proclaimed heart and soul of the Cut up Crew defense. Has the range necessary to play on the All-Novaffl defensive team.

One of the corners would be Jason. Quiet as it’s kept, he is an extremely underrated DB. The other corner? Jorge. He has gone up against some great receivers, and blanketed them. Namely Ron and WB.

The safeties are easy: Radar and Angry Andy. With Radar, it seems like he pilfered a copy of the offense’ game plan he gets so many INTs. With Andy, he is usually underestimated but always back there to make the play.

If S.O had to pick alternates, the Stankoniforous One would take BHidd at LB, WB at WR, and the UD QB.
