“A DAY IN THE LIFE…”
Friday 5 pm: Just got home from work, man all I can think about is getting a drink and I’m not talkin’ about that non-alcoholic crap. I need something with kick, some vodka now that’s what I’m talkin’ bout. Got to get some drinks in me tonight so I can be prepared for tomorrow. Saturdays man, that’s what I live for. Go out for a couple hours and play some football. The only problem is that it’s 5 pm on dang Friday and football ain’t for 17 more hours. Oh well I guess I’ll just drink until then, oh and talk about football on the forum.
Friday 7pm: Yeah got a nice buzz going on now, just got done reading some posts on the forum. I don’t know why these boys talk so much trash when they are garbage anyways. I mean I by far am no NFL Legend by any means but you don’t hear me yappin off at the mouth about how great I am et cetera and so forth. You got a dude like SanFran who used to be somebody, back when Fran Tarkenton was a rookie, who keeps talking about locking dudes down and blah blah blah. I’m a firm believer in actions speak louder than words, but when you’re as old as he is actions might lead to a broken hip so I guess I understand him having to yapp all the time. Plus you know Old-timers they’re always tryin’ to relive the glory days. So go ahead SanFran keep drinking your Henny and Prune juice and remember what it was like back in the day. Oh yeah, Cap better like this damn article, he’s always whining that there isn’t enough participation on the blog or what not so he better appreciate it, ya’ll readers better like this too. I ain’t wastin time on ya’ll for you to not like it…
Friday 10pm: Feelin really good right now. I’m all excited about tomorrow too. Should be some good games going down. Conquest Vs. Hawks. Cutters Vs. Candles. Those are the top 2 games of the week. I think Conquest (Can’t we just change the name to Convicts? Just a bunch of Ruffians with athletic ability, they really haven’t accomplished any conquests except beating the Cutters in week 1) is going to have a tough time against the Hawks, but hey who knows. I mean seriously the Hawks run the ball. They are like the Atlanta Falcons of NOVAFFL, except they got a dude who can actually throw the ball, just not deep cause his receivers are so slow you need a sun dial to get their 40 time. Hopefully the Cutters will shut the Candles up…I’m tired of hearing about how good Big Ron is, plus the Candles have been overrated IMO all season long it’s about time it gets proven. But then again the Cutters need knocked off that damn high horse of theirs. No team should be allowed to be in 1st place more than a week. Who do they think they are Ohio St or somethin’?
Saturday 12:01 am: Maddawgs are all asleep now cause cap instituted a midnight curfew after getting spanked by the cutters 5-0 last week. If not allowing them to drink on Friday night isn’t enough this has to set the Maddawgs off. I mean not allowing somebody to drink is un-American!!! Cap should realize that players do better when they are hungover. Come to think about it somebody should tell the Merks to start boozing it up on Friday nights and they might actually score more than 2 points in a game.
Gametime: Walkin around during the early games just takin notes. My thoughts about the Con’s were right, we should change that name to Convicts. Short man had to get kicked out for poppin the hawks receiver in the face. The other lil man from the hawks got all crazy and tried to get gansta on Alge, it took like 4-5 dudes to hold Alge from killin that dude. Mad craziness during that game. And you got Theo not takin control of his team cause he’s too busy planning the post-season party. What is this league coming too. I mean really we got Jason out there lookin all pretty in his pink shirt that was so tight his nipples showed through. I know he’s tryin to play the part cause he lost the bet but that’s takin it too far. Obviously he demoralized his team cause they got scraped by the hawks real quick. I think he should trade himself soon to a team that might actually win a game. Too many teams are getting blanked 5-0 in the first half. This needs to stop. I mean if I come out here hungover all early I want to be able to play both of my games to the full time limit. The only time that should be overlooked is when it’s too cold outside last week then it should be a reward to spank a team and go home early.
Post Game: Man now I gotta wait another week just to come out and play some more football. What’s worse is that boys don’t really start posting up on the forum until at least Monday. It should be fun to hear the excuses as to why a team lost and all the trash talking that goes down. Football season is over now so there is nothing to watch on Saturday and Sunday. I might have to go home and have a drink or two to help me pass the time instead…maybe I’ll call up the merks and get them the Football for dummies 2nd edition release that just came out, hell I might even lend my coordinator skills to their coaching staff. Who knows…
