"The Elite Polock" "General" "Maddawg"

Back in the days of Crystal City, in January 2006 there was one brave soul who took pickup football from its decayed state and changed it into something epic.

Most of you knew him by the name "Dustin" and have ben privy to his numerous "jack-cuts" where opposing secondaries would literally get Funked right on up. Additionally, Novaffl has not seen a more well-rounded and speedy Cornerback/safety since his disappointing injury. A true Maddawg, he suffered through the days of no quarterback and a team of 4 with 4 newbie recruits. During the early months of 2006, Dustin would make do with an Evite that at best held 6 persons at any given time. Madcap, the loyal soldier he was would follow the "General's" orders to harass passersbys to play football. With his volleyball Knee pads that still exist today and are worn more for sentimental reasons to give homage to the pickup days, the mastiff keeps those days alive in everyone's heart with a clear "FU Bitch" written with a rudimentary pen.

Bitter cold would never keep Dustin or Madcap from organizing games and stealing people off the basketball courts. In fact, if you were in a 200 yard radius, you could be sure you would hear "Cmon tools, I know you ain't got no game, y'all cant play football." As time progressed and the weather got better, Dustin began accumulating players until the day a squirrelly black dude by the name of hell, I cant remember anymore, invited the pentagon City crew to play with jason mathers.

The early days of April 2006, saw several games begin at the Alexandria fields where teams would get set by the Lucian count-off method with the Madcap Jr, Nick leading the way with several long QB sneaks. Steadily the population grew and grew until Novaffl had a cult like following. Largely because of the efforts of the General. These times led to the creation of the Madcap assignment method that ultimately led to balanced teams.

Whether Dustin will be back physically, is a question that still exists, but his athletic ability will likely go unsurpassed for days to come, and his organizational influence on the league too, shall live on as nova approaches the next decade.
