Power Rankings Commentary

The demands for the Novaffl Power Rankings are coming to me from all sides. I know you are all eager, but in actuality there are no changes to the 19 DEC 06 rankings as seen on http://www.novaffl.com/

Am I being lazy, "lazily Cap" no, on the contrary. I am not entirely pleased with attendance the last few weeks, nor do I have confidence that our new teams the Extraordinairres and Brisco hawks are ready for some football. And as the Gadman (sanfran) has posted, Brisco High Hawks have not responded at all to anything to do with the league. I contacted Dustin and he said he would give me the phone numbers, but you know how that goes.

This past Saturday was fun, but really was a Hodgepodge of core team tournaments. The Cutters havent fielded a full team for a month now, Nonamers seem to be bare bones, yet the maddawgs have finally got a crew.

Sixteen Candles, led by brotherman Vin Raimes and Laron "smack talker extraordinaire" finally fielded their seven players and showed some defensive merit with their int-touchdowns and capable linemen. We may have to have a Captain's meeting with Ron and try and pinpoint why he thinks this league has a bias and why he needs to fight every call that goes against him.

Let me see Umpa, formally known as 'Stern'--he earned his way out of that name made a nice catch last week, and Mike D's return to the Field Generals worked good as well. Overall though it seems that most of the teams have not been recruiting well, and if we are to get some flag football churning around here, I suggest we keep Lucky Lucian in charge of pickups so we can have a continuous free agent pool during the season. Let them throw footballs around the softball cages in a game of .500.

On another note, I have warned all the players on my team that if our secondary does not improve Im going to be gunning for both wide receiver and cornerback slots.
